  Individual Therapy takes place in a safe confidential space at the practice seeing Ilanie
  on a one on one basis usually once a week for an hour.

• Christian/Pastoral Counselling (1-2 Hours)
  Ilanie is one of only a few Psychologists in South Africa who incorporates
  Christian/Pastoral counselling as part of her treatment regime if it suites the clients
  needs.
• Pre-marital Counselling (1 hour)
  Ilanie has an 8 week program to guide couples who are engaged to assist with existing
  problems and to help them with effective communication and equip them with
  behavioral tools to ensure a joyful marriage.
• Parental Guidance (1 hour)
  Ilanie offers in depth guidance to parents regarding their children’s mental health
  struggles, discipline and divorce settlements to name only a few.
• Therapy for Adolescents : 13-18 years (1 hour)
  Therapy for Teenagers to guide and assist them through this challenging life stage where
  depression, anxiety, suicidal ideation, substance abuse, eating disorders, cutting
  themselves, socialisation, bulling and the demands of social media has a big impact on
  their day to day life.
• Child Therapy: 6-12 years (45 minutes)
  Child Therapy goes hand in hand with Parental Guidance to assist children to cope with
  their own struggles
• Virtual Therapy (1-2 Hours)
  Online therapy is most convenient when a client resides in another city or country. As
  long as the client has a safe space where they can connect via the internet the outcome
  of the therapy can be very rewarding.
• Forensic Assessment and Report Writing
  Assessments: 3-4 hours
  Report Writing: 5-8 hours
• Report writing for court purposes concerning divorce, parental care and psychological functioning of the client and forensic reports concerning abuse or assault are part of the services rendered. Ilanie works closely with a forensic social worker regarding the forensic reports.
• Corporate Mental Health consulting (1-2 Hours)
  The effect of employee’s mental health and the impact it has on their performance at
  the workplace has been emerging to the forefront during the past couple of years. More
  and more companies are making use of Ilanie’s knowledge surrounding mental health
  illnesses to increase awareness in the corporate world.
